RYA Adult Basic Dinghy Skills
11th May - 29 September
Aimed at further competence and safety when sailing. Gives you seamanship skills and knowledge enabling you to sail in your own time and to hire out club boats.
2 day course over a weekend
You will need:
- - Sailing gear (Wetsuits and buoyancy aid) Grippy shoes that can get wet (Trainers fine, Plymsoles and Wellies not ok), swimming gear, towel
- - Lunch (Our restaurant is open for lunch on Saturdays and Sunday's)
- - Logbook provided
Cost: £180 members £240 non-members
Minimum age: 13yrs
Courses held at Exe Sailing Club with a minimum duration of 16 hours, with a maximum ratio of, 1 instructor to 9 students in double handers, or 1 instructor to 6 students in single handers.

- Basic Skills Dinghy - 8th and 9th June : 8 - 9 June, 09:00 - 17:00
- Basic Skills Dinghy - 20th and 21st July : 20 - 21 July, 09:00 - 17:00
- Basic Skills Dinghy - 28th and 29th September : 28 - 29 September, 09:00 - 17:00
