Exe sailor Stefan Anderson has won the South West Traveller Series for the Tera Pro. The Traveller Series, raced at venues across the South Wets over the year, is definitely a marathon, not a sprint. Exe Sailing Club Hosts Successful Millennium Series Event
Exe Sailing Club was delighted to welcome the RS2000 Millennium Series fleet for a fantastic weekend of competitive racing in a wide range of conditions. Sailors faced challenging winds and large waves on Saturday, with gusts reaching up to 28 knots, before lighter and more tactical conditions arrived on Sunday. Challenging Conditions for Knight Frank Champagne Challenge
Competitors in Exe Sailing Club's Knight Frank Champagne Challenge from Exmouth to Brixham faced highly variable conditions, ranging from flat calm to gusts of 18 knots. After a light-wind start, many boats were becalmed off Dawlish Warren before a strengthening south-westerly breeze allowed racing to resume. Exe hosts Trio Nationals with club members taking the top honours on the water
Last weekend saw the club host three days of spectacular sailing for the Nobel Marine Comet Trio Nationals. 20 dinghies competed in 7 races held at sea, with some great courses set by race officer Les Arscott and his team, despite tricky wind conditions on day 3.
